A mother, a web designer, but ultimately: I'm a mixed media, collage, and altered arts artist. Originally from Hawaii, I've moved here and there and everywhere in between, been an army brat, now an army wife -- go figure -- residing in Colorado, at least until middle of next year, then it's back to HI or to Ft. Bragg .
I'm a rather eccentric and introverted individual, moody but passionate.
Right now I'm extremely into collage art and ACEOs (Art Cards Editions & Originals) or ATCs (Art Trading Cards). It's my passion and I'm trying to move to other venues besides selling them on Ebay.
I have a blog at blogspot (The Runaway Mind) and mostly post my art and sometimes poetry on there.
I'm the group owner of Altered Art Obsession, moderator/technical director/web mistress of ZNE (variaZioNE) a mixed media, collage, altered arts online artist group and also member of several other ebay and yahoo artists groups, as well as a few other online groups, including EBSQ, DiviantArt, and ISABA.

If you’re anything like me, then you have an overwhelming desire to create altered art, almost to the point of obsession!
This group is for mixed media / altered arts artists (all levels welcome) – but not just any mixed media / altered arts artists – those of like-mind who have a strong desire to create art pieces that not only are an extension of themselves, but are moving and give you a sense that you have completed something wonderful. Having said that, this also extends to art swaps…
Ever been in an art swap not been completely satisfied with the piece you receive back? Of course there are no guarantees that you’ll always be satisfied with what you received from art projects in this group, but I’m hoping that this group will contain members who put as much effort, care, and pride into their swap projects as they do for something they create for friends/family or for sale. If you’re reliable, can meet project deadlines with no problems, can communicate with efficiency, love to swap on a regular basis, agree and can carry through on all of the above and below remarks – then you’re meant to be in this group!
Type of projects that this group will host: Altered Books RRs, Chunky/Fat Books, Skinny Books, ATCs, Tags, Altered Tins, and a whole lot more!
